The Good News is not Old News

The Good News is not Old News

Down the hill from IMM is the Magistral Cathedral. The building is rooted in the year 305 AD, the year when two children were killed for being Christians. The boys, Justo, age 13, and Pastor, age 9, were executed during the times of the Roman Empire under Emperor Diocletian. The appointed chief persecutor of Christians in the early years of the fourth century, Daciano, journeyed through Spain “in a frenzy of violence and horror”. In the year 304 AD he reached Alcalá de Henares, then known by its Roman name, Complutum, and proclaimed that all Christians, on pain of death, renounce their faith. The two boys heard of this and were determined to show that their own Christian faith was as strong as that of any of their elders by publicly proclaiming their faith. Praetor Daciano thought it would be a simple matter of scaring the two young boys and ordered that they be flogged.

According to sources, they were savagely beaten, but refused to denounce Christ, only becoming more defiant. Angered by their display of bravery, Daciano sought permission to have them killed, and the sentence was carried out secretly, away from the public. The boy’s throats were cut at night outside of the city walls. Some fellow believers in Christ found their bodies and buried them where they fell. Through the centuries this field became a place of worship for the early church, and over time, religious buildings were constructed here to guard the memory and remains of Justo and Pastor. Today the remains of the young martyrs are located in the crypt below the altarpiece in the Magistral Cathedral, which was built in the year 1515 AD under the orders of Cardinal Cisneros.

Those who persecute Christians often have a goal of humiliating them and making them believe the hatred toward them is justified. But Jesus told us ahead of time of their true motivation: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” (John 15:18-19). Christian martyrs throughout history have been killed because they hid their identities in Christ and did not belong to the world.

IMM has dedicated the past forty years to heralding the gospel into the darkest parts of the world. Of the top fifty nations listed in 2021 by Christianity Today where “it is most dangerous to follow Jesus”, half have received programming produced by IMM. With the help of our broadcast partners, translations targeting specific language groups are bounced via satellite into the closed areas of the world, where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not welcome. Indeed, the word “broadcast” itself is taken from the idea of a farmer casting the seeds broadly across the fertile ground.

Our latest endeavor, the Heritage Project, is an eight-part series showing the life of the early church in North Africa, and all of the oppression they faced during those trying times. These eight programs are being broadcast into North Africa as targeted language group translations are completed. One particular episode, “Anthony”, mentions Emperor Diocletian by name and documents the same persecution occurring all the across the Roman Empire during the same years Justo and Pastor were killed for their faith. Other episodes in the Heritage series recount the true stories of martyrdom in North Africa, and the believers who stood firm in the Christian faith during the days of the early church.

These stories must be shared today as Christians across the world are continuing to face persecution. Here at IMM, we share the Gospel to encourage, give strength, and to broadcast the blessed hope of our redeemer.

Tiny Swords, Bigger Faith

Tiny Swords, Bigger Faith

One of the things I love about International Media Ministries – even where we are located in Spain – is the history. I wasn’t the kid who loved history but living where you see where things happened has really changed my perspective. I’m sitting near a plaza called Holy Children Plaza (Plaza de los Santos Niños). Two kids, young people, volunteered to stand for Christ at the cost of their lives during the Diocletian persecution in the Roman Empire.

At the 40th-anniversary event, we used a tiny sword to symbolize and help us remember the story of these two boys. Justo and Pastor were initially beaten to discourage their boisterous claim of Christ since they were only 9 and 13 years old. But they wouldn’t give it up. Angered by their display of bravery, local Praetor Daciano sought permission to have them killed, and the sentence was carried out secretly, away from the public. Some fellow believers in Christ found their bodies and buried them where they fell in the area where the local Cathedral is today.

Christ is close to the persecuted and so often their prayer request is to pray they stand firm. Justo and Pastor believed they could stand strong as much as any adult could and they did.

Volunteering to stand for Christ in such a dramatic way is not required of most of us today. We know parts of the world where it is. But with you we want to get the same message of hope out that makes people bold and strong in the power of Jesus Christ.

I imagine you know people who would be excited about putting Jesus on more screens and pushing back the darkness and lies of the enemy. Our tiny swords symbolized persecution, but they also illustrate the Word of God and how it quickens hearts and speaks about our creator and our souls to bring salvation. Could you be an ambassador for IMM by sharing our mission with someone who can pray, give, or volunteer?

We need people willing to volunteer. It isn't always comfortable to step outside of our normal lives, but God does amazing things when we do. IMM is stretching to do voice-overs for Iran and Ukraine, even as we continue with other projects for other parts of the world. We know that what we do is big in God’s hands and it’s impossible when we look at ourselves. Lives are being changed day by day and screen by screen as we join together with the sword of the Holy Spirit to share hope.

The Work of Our Hands

The Work of Our Hands

As I write this, I'm sitting at my desk, looking out of a huge open window...the size of a Samsung 75" TV if that helps visualise. It's like watching a nature video, except I feel the cool gentle breeze. I hear doves cooing and dogs barking. I see foliage of all kinds; tall cypresses, leafy greens, flowering with glimpses of Spanish tiled roof lines. Above all of this, a baby blue sky without a cloud in sight. Lucky me.

Genesis one tells us that after God created everything, He paused to look at what he had done. I would interpret that to mean He admired His handiwork. Then the bible says, “And behold, it was very good”. Now I would never tinker with the Holy Bible, but really? “Very good”? I would have written: “And behold, it was AWESOME”.

But that’s just me.

For us mere mortals, we too find pleasure and reward in reflecting on the work of our hands. After all, we are made in God’s image so taking pride in our work, especially knowing that it is God who provides us work, is a good pride. There is a fine line though. “Pride cometh before the fall.” Just ask Lucifer how that worked out for him.

That’s a wrap! (as we say on set)

In all we do, let’s give God the glory and as the Apostle Paul said, think not of ourselves more highly than we ought. “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
Rev 4:11

Full Circle

In 1990, Doug and I began our lives as missionaries, serving with IMM in Belgium for 10 years. Even after we changed assignments and moved to the Netherlands, we remained a part of what we fondly call the IMM Forever Family. We’ve stayed in touch or reconnected with many members of this family over the years, including IMM’s current President, Denise and Creative Director, Kerry. So, when we felt God was moving us on from what we’d been doing for the last 15 years, our first thought was to return to IMM.

And now we’ve come full circle, although IMM’s location has changed. We arrived in Spain three months ago, and it’s exciting to be a part of this amazing ministry again. One of the projects we’ve all been working on recently has been reorganizing the many costumes that are kept in the attic. A lot of them were made or acquired in the ‘90’s for programs IMM produced about the life of Jesus. We even wore some of them, first with Doug as Joseph and me protecting our son Nathan from Herod’s soldiers in the program about the birth of Jesus (https://vimeo.com/218635519), then Doug as the blind man Jesus healed (https://vimeo.com/230136281) and me as the woman with the issue of blood (https://vimeo.com/230124785).

This is the life of a media missionary. While our primary role might be behind the scenes in production, creative services, or administration, sometimes we are also needed in front of the camera or doing other things we’re not trained to do. Whether exciting or mundane, simple or challenging, something we’re skilled at or that is out of our comfort zone, we always have to be ready to do whatever needs to be done to accomplish our goal of getting Jesus on every screen. And our doors are always open to those who feel called to use the talents God gave them to reach as many as possible with the gospel.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

Reflections on the Number 40

Reflections on the Number 40

We recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of International Media Ministries.  For 40 years IMM missionaries have reached out with the Gospel into open and closed regions all over the globe.

The number 40 is significant in the Bible.

The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years. Moses was on Mount Sinai for 40 days. The prophet Ezekiel laid on his right side for 40 days. God flooded the Earth for 40 days. Goliath mocked and taunted the Israelites for 40 days. Three Kings in the Bible reigned for 40 years each: Saul, David, and Solomon. The holy place of the temple was 40 cubits long. God gave Nineveh 40 days to repent. There are many more examples. Forty days in the desert.

What soon becomes apparent is that the number 40 symbolizes testing, trials, and triumphs.

If you’ve read this far, maybe you are a former IMM Director, IMM team member, or a faithful supporter. Then you know that doing the work of God is indeed marked by testing, trials, and triumphs.

I’m the only one who has worked for the Lord under all four Directors. I’ve seen all of us journey through our amazing times at IMM. Sometimes our tests are too public, many times the trials are private and battle us when the night is quiet. However, one thing I can tell you with conviction, the triumphs are for all of us.

Millions have heard. Millions. I will stand by that figure because I’ve seen the numbers roll in over the years. I’ve seen the open doors in front of us. The Iron Curtain fell and the Truth in image moved in out of our humble IMM studios. We have suffered exile and the fiery darts. Directors and their families strived and contended as Royalty because of their conviction and calling, sometimes waiting on future triumphs.

The techies, scholars and weirdos carried the Gospel into the Far and Middle East. We’ve battled our own thoughts and severe restrictions through the pandemic.

Today the world continues to hurt. Indeed, the worst may be right around the corner, but friends, we have a marker. Forty years. As God wills it, we will continue on this journey, and we will succeed.

Salvation

Salvation

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)

We go through life experiencing its changes. We grow, develop, and learn about what God has planned for us. It was a big step in life to move to Spain and to come work with IMM, but I was ready for the new experiences. It has been a journey through homesickness and culture shock, but God has been with me through it all. Something that I have been reminded of recently is that the opportunity for grace and salvation has been given to us all. It is so important to understand that our strength comes through what he has given us. No matter what, being reminded that I am one of God’s children has given me the courage to face the challenges that come my way, and to freely experience the life God has given me with joy.

Back in 2014, I had the privilege to travel to Israel. One of the places we visited was Nazareth, specifically the cliffside where Jesus was almost thrown off the mountain (Luke 4: 16-30). As we stood there reflecting, our leaders spoke on the concept of salvation, that even though the people were ready to kill Jesus, he would soon die for them and forgive them. It was an incredible reminder for me that salvation is for all, even for those who were ready to throw Jesus off the cliff.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

I encourage you all to be steadfast in prayer and remember that we all have salvation. I encourage you to pray that you continue to put your trust in the God of salvation and to follow the path He has already walked for you. I ask that you continue to pray for us here at IMM, that we hold fast to the call this ministry continues to answer; to pray for our missionaries who are in closed countries; and to pray for our world, that the gospel will continue to penetrate the dark places and bring light and salvation to those who have yet to hear it.

Working, for Whose Glory?

Working, for Whose Glory?

Head buried in relics of VCR tapes, breathing in the dust until every exhale is almost a sneeze, you’re struggling to make this fossil of a machine work. Deadlines are creeping closer, and if you can’t coerce it into giving you the data you need, the footage that will finish your project, there will be major consequences. On an impulse, you yank a few identical cables, reconnecting them in different places, and… yes! It works! A stroke of genius, surely, and now you have all the pieces needed to finish this project in time.

What’s your next move?

You send a quick photo to your team of the final project, the caption briefly boasting, “I’ve conquered it!” and shut your phone back off with a laugh. The rest of the project goes by quickly, sent off to your boss for review within the hour, and you smile every time one of your teammates responds to your picture with praise or a funny comment. Later that day, you’re trying to explain your process to another teammate, and it’s almost satisfying when she doesn’t fully understand what’s happening, and says simply, “I would never have been able to do this.”

As humans, we constantly teeter between feeling incapable and feeling all-capable. Our jobs and relationships give us an unsteady source of praise that leaves us feeling like over-stretched balloons—either over-extended with hot air or left desperately waiting for more.

While I was working on this same project mentioned above this week, I kept waiting for the moment I was finished, knowing that the reward waiting for my deeds was praise and recognition. Of course, some of the satisfaction is earned from fixing what was broken, sure, but most of my future joy is sourced from reactions, bubbling up suddenly in an exorbitant high, and fading just as quickly.

So what is the portion the Lord would have for us? Surely, it can’t be fast fading highs and the unsteady income of pleasing people.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”

Colossians 3:23-24

This verse was originally written for bondservants, or slaves, in the Roman world, admonishing them not to be focused on pleasing people with “eye-service,” but giving their hearts fully over to sincerity in fear of the Lord.

Well, you’re not a bondservant, and neither am I. There’s no one to whom I owe my employment, no one to whom I’m indebted to work or am paying off a debt with my labor.

But in a much more real sense, we are all bound to the gospel of Jesus Christ through our faith. We’ve decided to make the God of the universe our master, our King, and serve Him with every action, every day. Our reward will never be the praise of humans, since we—made in the image of a praise-worthy God—desire worship, but can never sustain it. We weren’t made to receive worship, but instead to redirect it heavenwards in praise of the One to whom every knee will bow on heaven and on the earth.

Take your crowns, sisters, and brothers, and throw them down before our King. They aren’t precious, our rewards and praise from humans on this earth—they only serve as a way to glorify our God in heaven.

Pride sits at the base of our desire for praise, justifying every morsel we steal for ourselves as you worked hard for that, you deserve it. Would we desire today that the Holy Spirit inside of us would pull that weed out of our hearts, giving us, instead, the joy of seeing God glorified above all, joy in making ourselves lesser that He might become greater?

As you’re finishing that project, waiting for more responses from teammates about a job well done, close your eyes. In your mind’s eye, remove the crown of that success off your brow and lay it at the feet of the cross. Thank you, Jesus, for giving a solution to the problem. Thank you for the technology, and for making me in Your image that I may solve this issue and finish this project with excellence that gives you glory. Take away my pride, receive all the glory You are owed.

Dreaming Big in Darija

Dreaming Big in Darija

This past fall was a whirlwind of activity in IMM. First in August and again in October we welcomed new team members to Spain. While helping them get settled in Spain, we were also doing casting work, scheduling, getting scripts translated and prepped, refining our inventory list, and getting everything ready to film two projects in Moroccan Arabic (or Darija): Season Two of The Heritage Project and a piece for social media called Idris and I.

The most challenging part of this pre-production was casting actors. Idris and I tells the story around a man in Morocco who decides to become a Christian and is then fired from his job. In the piece, we hear from people who know Idris and are so impacted by his uncompromising faith that they decide to learn more about Jesus.

This piece is especially groundbreaking because it is one of few (if any) Christian media pieces in Darija where the characters speak on camera. Often, when pieces like this are made in Darija, they are done using subtitles or voice over. This provides more security for Darija speakers lending their voice because their faces never appear on camera. However, the ministry that contacted us about producing Idris and I specifically wanted on-camera dialogue. They felt it would be more powerful for Darija-speaking viewers to look in the face of someone speaking their language and sharing a story of faith.

We agreed with them that this would make for a powerful video, but it was not easy to find actors. We needed people who were from Morocco, living in or able to travel to Spain, native Darija speakers, and willing to portray a Christian character. Becoming a Christian is not only illegal in Morocco, but continues to pose a threat to a Moroccan’s safety even after leaving the country.

It took months of emails, texts, phone calls, and follow-up. There were a couple of days where we considered pulling the plug on the project completely, but by God’s grace and some unexpected connections, we were able to find almost all of the actors we needed. So we decided to move forward in faith and begin filming. December rolled around, and we packed up the van and drove to the studio where we would be filming these new Darija pieces.

Though the stress of casting was over, there were still some obstacles to work through: It was the first time this specific group of IMM-ers had been on a shoot together (and the first IMM shoot ever for a couple). At the last minute, three of our team members who were supposed to be on the shoot were no longer able to come. And on top of this, a couple of people on our now smaller team were feeling under the weather. From the outside, we did not have ideal circumstances for a shoot. But we went ahead with it anyway and, as He often does, God used our little to accomplish something big.

We were able to film everything we had set out to; we even had time to reshoot when necessary to get the best possible take. All of the equipment functioned as it was supposed to. Every job from lighting to script supervision got done without a hiccup, and even though we were new to being on set together, the team dynamic was great.

These may seem like small victories, but we serve a God who is attentive to detail. He knows our needs, big and small. So if having enough space on a hard drive or being able to work smoothly as a team is what you need that day, He knows it. And how much more is He fighting for us when we’re creating something to advance His word?

We are so excited to get these projects on screens in Morocco! We know that the stories and messages in these pieces will bring spiritual life and truth about God to many who have never had a relationship with Jesus. We know that God will use them in mighty ways, but we are still in need of a few Darija-speaking actors. It can be discouraging when we need something and we don’t see God providing, especially after asking and seeking for a long time. But He knew our needs on set in December and He knows our needs now. We know He is working even when we can’t see it.

Will you pray with us that we find these actors and that filming schedules line up so that we can finish our Darija projects? And will you pray for the people of Morocco who will see these pieces – that their hearts would be tender to God’s voice and their spiritual eyes opened? We can’t wait to see how God will move!

40 Days of Prayer Journey - Day 40

40 Days of Prayer Journey - Day 40

Origins and Value

"In the late 1970s, the Division of Foreign Missions administrative body in Springfield Missouri, under the leadership of J. Philip Hogan, began discussing the idea of using the tools of mass media for the proclamation of the gospel worldwide...After a two-year study, this committee made the recommendation…in May 1981 that an international media ministry be formed that could help all missionaries in all the fields. This (concept) was approved in October 1981. The mandate given initially was 'to develop an international ministry that would develop a global strategy for the use of radio and television for evangelism and worker training.’” from “The founding of International Media Ministries”

This record of International Media Ministries’ origin moved me to tears. As you look back, you also look to the future. Are we on track and where are we going? Someone made the comparison, the rearview mirror is only a few inches wide while the windshield of the car is six feet. Looking back lets you see if the road is correct and if you have stayed on track. I rejoice that the mission is solid and that we are, indeed, on track. It is a mission that will be needed until Jesus comes. If anyone at all on this planet needs to hear about Jesus in our media-heavy times, our mission holds.

It holds to train others to do the same job and keep the kingdom expanding through all our efforts to share the good news on radio, television, satellites, and online streaming platforms. Who knows what is coming around the next corner as technology innovations bring new opportunities every day?

Ed Nelson who came to Assemblies of God with this kernel of an idea and led the committee in studying the technology of 1980 including a new idea in technical circles—the cellular phone—said this:

“What became essential to staking IMM in the global endeavor of sharing the gospel was that it always be adaptable, innovative, ever-modifying, reinventing where needed, and shifting in its functions to adapt to new technologies. It is to never become still, stale, or stuck in past successes, ever-moving, ever-changing, ever-adapting to the rise of new opportunities and needs. Since then, IMM has worked tirelessly to bring people all over the world into a saving relationship with the Messiah Jesus through various forms of media. It utilizes the most advanced technologies to tell timeless stories that people can view on televisions, cinema screens, and mobile phones.”

What a terrific affirmation of the work of IMM, but what a challenge too. We must never pause our progress or rest on the past. God has honored the work of 40 years but more people need to know Him and the power of His Glory. We join hands with you to continue this important mission to reach closed places, to tell lost stories, to bring eternal treasure to hearts. More stories are waiting to be told and we will only be successful in doing this beautiful work together.

God’s Word for Today:

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19

Pray with us:

  • Pray for the future media projects being developed to be anointed by the Holy Spirit.

  • Pray for our team and our resources to meet the needs in front of us.

  • Pray for you and how you can help make the treasure of heaven bright for others as we stand together for His truth.

Treasure of the Truth

At International Media Ministries, we are fond of the verse that says God’s word does not return void. Imagine that only ONE of the dozens of partners reaches 5 million people as viewers. We cannot meet them all or know the impact of the stories of the Bible on them. Yet, we know God’s word is powerful, and seeds are planted. People are searching for a treasure that is greater than this life. We are working because we know that treasure, salvation, eternal life, and God’s presence changes everything for us.

One lady viewing in Algeria wrote in, “For weeks now I have been following your programs and I have never ever heard about the Lord Jesus before. I never knew that he was anything more than a prophet. But now, I want to know everything about him. I want to know about the Lord Jesus Christ who gives new life, but I have a problem here, I do not know how to pray.…But anyway please send me the Bible.” Daha, Algeria

Another North African got in touch with the channel.

“I am from Morocco...I have been interested in Christianity for a long time. I have followed your Satellite TV programs and from these I understood that Christ is the Saviour of the world. I became a believer! Now I feel like a changed person. Most of all I would like to receive my own Bible, as I want to know all about Jesus.” Abe

“My own Bible.” “My own salvation.” It took these viewers some time to consider and accept the power of the truth of the Gospel. Now they are hungry for the treasure of Jesus and the word of God.

As we look into the new year, IMM is seeking Berber faces to be on-screen presenters for new translations of the Lost Legacy Reclaimed series and share the lost history of Christianity in North Africa with the people of North Africa. What a marvelous hidden treasure of deep Christian thinkers that defined the early church already inside their own culture that points to Christ! What spiritual treasures can you polish as you start the new year with hope in Christ?

God’s Word for Today:

“I will utter hidden things, things from of old—things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” Psalm 78:3-4

Pray with us:

  • Pray for those receiving Bibles in North Africa to help grow the church and community in hope and unity.

  • Pray for IMM to find the talent needed to be on camera for unique languages in need.

  • Pray for your heart to view the treasure of the scriptures with fresh eyes in the coming year.

Glasnost and the Gospel

(From Richard Dunn)

Glasnost in Russian means “openness.” In the 1980s and ‘90s the former Soviet Union had grown more tolerant. This included religious diversity.

In 1995, a team from International Media Ministries had just translated 12 of the French Boulevard des Enfants (Children’s Boulevard) into Russian. Larry Killion oversaw the voice over of this work.

During the holidays, we traveled to Moscow with 300 copies of these programs, along with teacher and student manuals: including coloring pages, games, and Bible lessons.

More than 100 CHRISTIAN teachers from across the country came to learn more about children’s ministry. When our team distributed the video cassettes and booklets you could feel the joy coming from the group. Having high quality Christian materials in Russian, was an answer to prayer!

One single lady in her 40’s traveled on the 5,000 mile Trans-Siberian Rail line stopping all along the way to teach teachers, take these videos and other teacher’s aids to make an impact among younger Russians.

As was predicted, glasnost would fade away under later Russian leadership, but the seed of the Gospel was widely spread, and a harvest is sure!

Certainly, there are now second-generation Christians from this early effort in changing times. It’s important to be ready to adapt to the season in history.

God’s Word for Today:

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1

Pray with us:

  • Pray for the country of Russia and the workers who are still there spreading the gospel in more restricted times.

  • Pray for IMM that we will continue to grow with the new generations who need to hear the gospel.

  • Pray for you that God would to continue to give you the perseverance to spread the gospel.

Urdu Music Videos Have Impact

(From Sam Rahi (Bible Channel), Oct. 2006)

In 1973, Nancy Honeytree began publishing Christian music albums, touring, and sharing in concerts. She felt God leading her to learn Urdu (the language of Pakistan and India). Eventually, she wrote songs in Urdu and took language lessons to be able to perform them.

Through a shared connection with the Bible Channel, Honeytree came to IMM to record music videos in our studio and on-location that would be useful for broadcast. One of these seven songs, “The Man in White,” was about the dreams many Muslims have about Jesus without knowing who he is. Later, Honeytree sang the songs on tour in Urdu-speaking regions.

The Bible Channel reported: “We have been using Honeytree Music videos as part of our teaching programmes fitting with specific topics and as a filler at the end of programmes...PRAISE GOD we started to get positive comments about Honeytree Music from viewers one after another...From all over the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Pakistan. It was just amazing that suddenly God just opened the heavens to touch the lives of people. I was so pleased. People were calling just to tell us that Honeytree music videos have been so touching for people. Many people who called said words like...Brother, thank you for the blessed songs which are beautifully made...Brother, thank you...these songs touched our hearts and brought us closer to God...We feel the heart of God in this sister’s songs. Many people are asking for DVDs and music CDs.” Sam Rahi, Bible Channel.

International Media Ministries is privileged to be creative and flexible to do a variety of media work in partnership with the needs in various regions of the world. Whether it is music videos, lost stories of Christian history, or social media spots to open conversations, we are glad to serve places challenged with filling air space to bring people to Christ.

God’s Word for Today:

“Surely you will summon nations you know not,

and nations you do not know will come running to you,

because of the Lord your God,

the Holy One of Israel,

for he has endowed you with splendor.” Isaiah 55:5

Pray with us:

  • Pray for the media broadcast partners who are seeking more ways to get people’s attention on the air and online.

  • Pray for IMM to have enough workers and resources to fulfill the needs.

  • Pray for you to be sensitive to the needs of people around you and in other parts of the world and see creative ways to help.
