The Limited Series

The world around us is in turmoil. Iran is often at the center of conflict and controversy. 

In response to requests from Iranian Christians, International Media Ministries (IMM) is producing a limited series about Esther, for the people in the modern-day country where she was queen—Iran. 

Esther’s story, brought to life by an Iranian cast in Farsi, will tell of an ordinary girl living an ordinary life in an extraordinary city within the biggest empire in the world. Esther’s beauty will take her from her beloved Jewish people. Eventually, her convictions and intelligence will help her rescue her people from annihilation and influence an empire. 

IMM is excited to share Esther: Queen of Hope. A story lost in time and tradition, but full of God’s truth, showing how the Persians have been part of His plan.

FILMING IS FINISHED!

It has been several years since IMM was asked to produce Esther’s story. Little did we know that 2025 would be a strategic time to tell her story of hope for a nation in need.

The IMM team and volunteers from five countries filmed the six episodes of Esther: Queen of Hope at various locations around Spain using Iranian, Farsi-speaking actors. Our crew worked hard to maintain biblical and historical accuracy in every aspect of the production. 

Only God could have sustained a project of this magnitude with such a small (by film standards) crew. Working in many different languages and cultures proved to be challenging. We faced harsh weather and travel troubles. But God strengthened us, and the filming was completed. 

Post-production has just begun, and we are already receiving requests for translations for other countries! 

The excitement is building!

The Reveal

A project of this magnitude takes time, but the need was immediate.  To maintain momentum and to generate support for the project, IMM produced a ten-minute dramatic prelude, revealing key pieces of Esther’s story.

Esther Reveal, produced in Farsi, Spanish, and English, was released in Iran by our broadcasting partners, hoping to stir hearts for the gospel through Esther’s powerful story by asking, “What would you risk your life for?”

Women of the Bible Series

Over the past decade, IMM has produced four Women of the Bible: the Line of Christ stories that have been distributed worldwide, translated into multiple languages and are used by God to impact cultures and people everywhere.
