IMMpact Internships

As a mentoring organization with a desire to encourage media and missions IMM provides a media and communications  internship program called IMMpact. Our unique perspective as amission based production and training house allows us to offer practical skills training and experience. This is done in an environment of cross-cultural experience offered by people both inside and outside the organization. The goal of the internship is to share this experience in media production and communications to those students who are highly motivated to use their skill set to influence people from diverse cultural backgrounds to consider the claims of Christ and ultimately faith in Him.

Program structure

We ask interns to commit to a  minimum of 10 weeks in Spain

• Fall term: September to early December
• Winter term: January to mid April
• Summer: May to early August

Who should apply

• Video arts
• Communications- creative writing
• Web designers
• Animators
• Graphic arts and Design majors

Budget

Based on 10 weeks.

Housing cost per week: $112.5 x10 = $1125.00 (based on single room,

Personal expenses per week: $165×10= $1650.00 (this would include food, transportation, personal items and some spending money.)

Insurance: $2.40 per day. X 70 days = $168.00 (Insurance through Assemblies of God World Missions in required)

Total: $2943.00 plus Airfare

Monthly

Housing: $450 (based on single room, if shared bedroom $300)

Personal Expenses: $700 (based on average spending)

Insurance (30 days) $72

Total: $1222 a month plus airfare

(If you plan to travel you will need additional funds)

Housing arrangements

Bedroom with shared living space and kitchen and bath provided by IMM at fair rental amount.
