Tiffany is talented, funny,
fiesty, and full of energy.
She heard about IMM when
in 8th grade from a Missionary Associate who spoke at her church.
(It sure took her a LONG time to get here!) After
her junior year of high school, she went on a trip to Spain and
thought the country was beautiful. Somehow she knew someday
she would be back.
When Tiffany applied to
North
Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she discovered
they offered a brand new major -- Global Mass Communications.
She  knew
it was exactly what she was looking for! Guess who turned
out to be her Communications professor? The same Missionary
Associate who she had met at her church over five years earlier.
Students from NCU were
offered a trip to IMM in Brussels, Belgium to work on a project
and Tiffany jumped at the chance. After touring the facilities
and drooling over all the great equipment, John Merrell talked
to the students for a few minutes. Tiff says, "I remember
John saying that his prayer was that one day some of us would
come back and join the IMM team. I felt myself being pulled,
but ever the doubter, I told no one."
The summer before Tiffany
graduated from NCU, she picked up the Pentecostal Evangel. Upon
flipping through it, a title caught her attention: IMM MOVES
TO SPAIN. She emailed IMM for information and received a
phone call from Ruth Merrell. In Tiffany style, she asked
lots of questions, "But what about…and do you think...and
what if..." After all the questions were finally
answered, she applied, was accepted, raised the funds, got her
visa (finally!) and now serves at IMM .
Tiffany is living her
dream, doing what her heart desired.
